For Sale: 1972 Dodge Dart in STEVENSVILLE, Montana for sale in Stevensville, MT
Vehicle Description This is a 2 owner Hamtramck, MI born 1972 Dodge Dart 340 V8 Swinger.
I originally purchased this vehicle from the 2nd owner approximately a year ago.
He had bought this classic as his first car back in 2004 from the original owner in Montana.
It started out as a 318 V8, HB1 light blue with a vinyl/cloth split bench seat, automatic on the column and full vinyl white top.
The highly desirable 340 V8 with electronic ignition was rebuilt about 6,000 miles ago, maintains the original exhaust manifolds and sounds amazing with the 3 custom exhaust.
The TorqueFlite transmission is now mated to a B&M Mega Shifter on the floor.
The rearend is the 7 positraction with 3.
73 gears so she moves off the line but still has comfortable highway cruising capabilities.
Stopping power is provided by brand new BFGs with disc brakes up front and drums in the rear.
The Mopar PB5 Electric Blue Pearl was done correctly with hood, fenders, doors and rear deck lid removed.
White Bumble Bee rear tail stripes were painted out as part of the entire base coat before clear coat was applied over the entire car.
Interior is all black with newer carpet and no cracking in the dash or seats.
The bench was replaced with cloth bucket seats that I had re-upholstered to have the same stitching flow as the back seat.
I've invested a great deal of time and money replacing every bushing and suspension component so it handles as it should (shocks, idler, pitman, shoes/pads, torsion bar boots, new strut rods, front/rear wheel bearings and seals, leaf spring bushings, u-joints, upper/lower control arm bushings and ball joints, front-end alignment, etc).
A new gas tank was installed along with sending unit and strapping as well as headliner (removed original ABS plastic for a nicer headliner) and new white vinyl top so it's back to how she came out of the factory.
I do have pictures of the full body paint before vinyl top install so you can see it is sealed correctly underneath.
Finally, you have a nice Bluetooth stereo with microphone for some music while you cruise the back roads in a top notch Mopar A-Body Dart Swinger.

I do not undercoat so you get a full clear look at a zero rust vehicle with original floors.
